Precision Milled Brass C260 Profiles are 70 percent copper and 30 percent zinc. This is one of the most widely used of the copper-zinc alloys; it is malleable and ductile; has excellent cold-working; poor hot working and poor machining properties; develops high tensile strength with cold-working. Rated excellent for soft-soldering; good for silver alloy brazing or oxyacetylene welding and fair for resistance of carbon arc welding. Used for miniature profiles, drawn cartridges, tubes, eyelet machine items and snap fasteners. 1/2 to 3/4 Hard
